Pages:255
After the complete chaos at the city of V.F.D. and being accused of murder, the Baudelaire orphans were on their own in the middle of nowhere to fend for themselves. But wait, what is this? Is it the Last Chance General Store with completely useless items in it! Yes! Yes it is. But not all the stuff in it was useless like, a telegram. They can send a telegram to Mr. Poe, not that he will help them at all and as it turnes out it didn't. But on the bright side, wait there is no bright side. So, on the dark side, they almost got arrested. Key word ALMOST so they didn't get arrested! Everybody say Ya, Ya. They went to a hospital. Again in the middle of nowhere. the hospital had a library of records so they could find out who started the fire in the first book, but they didn't. They did find out that one of their parents might be still alive. Again key word MIGHT that is a 30% chance ONE of their parents is alive! Count Olaf finds them again and almost cuts Violets head off. But he didn't! So the Baudelaires had to hide in Olaf’s trunk to escape the burning hospital.
