Author: Lemony Snicket

Pages:255

After the complete chaos at the city of V.F.D. and being accused of murder, the Baudelaire orphans were on their own in the middle of nowhere to fend for themselves. But wait, what is this? Is it the Last Chance General Store with completely useless items in it! Yes! Yes it is. But not all the stuff in it was useless like, a telegram. They can send a telegram to Mr. Poe, not that he will help them at all and as it turnes out it didn't. But on the bright side, wait there is no bright side. So, on the dark side, they almost got arrested. Key word ALMOST so they didn't get arrested! Everybody say Ya, Ya. They went to a hospital. Again in the middle of nowhere. the hospital had a library of records so they could find out who started the fire in the first book, but they didn't. They did find out that one of their parents might be still alive. Again key word MIGHT that is a 30% chance ONE of their parents is alive! Count Olaf finds them again and almost cuts Violets head off. But he didn't! So the Baudelaires had to hide in Olaf’s trunk to escape the burning hospital.

The town was very mean and cruel to them, they made them do all their choirs and didn't want them in their houses. The only person that was nice to them was Hector. Hector was the janitor and like the orphans he got no respect. The odd thing about V.F.D. are the crows. There are millions of crows in that town! Now back to the story. How I See The World And Will Act Tomorow

After I watched the movie, the way I look at  the world has changed.  I see that one man, that has power, can change everything.  Now I will show more respect to the survivors of the Holocaust.  And will think of the Holocaust differently.  When I read the poem I learned that they didn't just go for the Jews, they went for the Catholics, the communists, and the trade unionists.  I will now stand up for people who are being bullied or criticized by other people.  I hope to make the world a better place.

A Series of Unfortunate Events: The Austere Academy

Authour: Lemony Sniket

Pages: 221

In this book, instead of going to a family's house, the Baudelaire orphans get sent to Prufrock Preparatory School, P.P.S.  P.P.S. is a boarding school with fantastic dorms.  The only bad thing is you have to have a guardian sign a peace of paper for you to get in. Because of that the Baudelaire orphans have to stay in a shack with crabs and fungus.  Count Olaf's plan is simple, be a gym coach, make the Baudelaire orphans run laps all night so they sleep during class, have them fail on the exam, and they will be his!  But that doesn't happen, thankfully.  Something bad does happen at the end of the story. Klaus gets kicked in the stomach by who other than Count Olaf!
